1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using WriteWeddingVows.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

This Service is operated by Sarah Whitman (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Portland, Oregon.

2. Service Description

WriteWeddingVows.com provides custom wedding vow writing services. Our service includes:

• A questionnaire to gather information about your relationship
• Custom-written wedding vows based on your responses
• Preview of the first half of your vow at no cost
• Full vow access upon payment
• One (1) free revision within 30 days of delivery

3. Pricing and Payment

Standard Service: $49 USD per custom vow

Rush Delivery: Additional $25 USD for 24-hour delivery (total $74)

Payment Terms:

• You can preview the first half of your vow before making any payment
• Payment is required to access the complete vow
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods
• Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes

4. Delivery Timeline

Standard Delivery: Your vow preview will be delivered within 48 hours of form submission.

Rush Delivery: Your vow preview will be delivered within 24 hours of form submission.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on submission volume. We will notify you via email when your vow is ready.

5. Revisions

Your purchase includes one (1) free revision of your wedding vow, subject to the following terms:

• Revision requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your complete vow
• Revisions are limited to adjustments of the existing vow (changes to tone, specific wording, length adjustments)
• Revisions do not include complete rewrites based on entirely new information
• Revised vows will be delivered within 48 hours of your revision request
• Additional revisions beyond the one included are not available

To request a revision, simply reply to your vow delivery email with your requested changes.

6. Refund Policy

Preview Before Purchase: Because you can preview the first half of your vow before making any payment, we do not offer refunds once the complete vow has been unlocked and paid for.

Before Payment: If you decide not to unlock your complete vow after viewing the preview, you owe nothing. There is no obligation to purchase.

After Payment: All sales are final once the complete vow is unlocked. However, you are entitled to one free revision (see Section 5) if the vow doesn't meet your expectations.

Service Issues: If we fail to deliver your vow within the promised timeframe or if there is a technical error preventing access to your vow, please contact us at sarah@writeweddingvows.com and we will either resolve the issue promptly or provide a full refund.

7. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Ownership: Once you have paid for your custom wedding vow, you own the vow completely. You have full rights to use, modify, and share your vow as you wish.

Your Rights:

• You may edit or modify the vow for your personal use
• You may read the vow at your wedding ceremony
• You may share the vow with family and friends
• You may include the vow in wedding programs or keepsakes

Service Materials: All other content on WriteWeddingVows.com, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Sarah Whitman and is protected by copyright laws.

8. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your questionnaire
• Provide a valid email address for communication and delivery
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not submit offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
• Not attempt to access areas of the site you are not authorized to access
• Not use the Service to create vows for commercial resale

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we strive to create beautiful, personalized vows for every client, we cannot guarantee that the vow will meet your expectations (though we do offer one free revision to address this).

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected immediately
• The Service is free from viruses or harmful components

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sarah Whitman and WriteWeddingVows.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted through the Service by any third party

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sarah Whitman, WriteWeddingVows.com, and our affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: If you have any dispute with us, please contact us first at sarah@writeweddingvows.com and we will attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Jurisdiction: You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Portland, Oregon.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. However, you will retain ownership of any vows you have purchased.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sarah Whitman regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
